We 'DREAM BIG' at Lincoln Elementary!

A Note from the Principal

Dear Lincoln Parents,

It is with great excitement that we look forward to our upcoming 2018-19 school year. Please note that the Lincoln office will be closed from June 15- July 24. The office will reopen on Wednesday, July 25.

You will receive a letter during July to register your child for the 2018-19 school year. Please follow the directions in the letter and be sure to use the appropriate link to enter your information.

Our “Meet the Teacher Night” will take place on Wednesday, August 8 from 5:00-6:00 pm. We will begin the evening with an assembly in the gym. We look forward to welcoming your child back to Lincoln. School supplies can be brought to school that evening and taken to classrooms. Be sure to check out our Lincoln Facebook as information will also be shared on our page.

Lincoln Elementary takes pride in ensuring that every student receives individualized instruction and care. Our Lincoln family is a great community that understands that together we achieve more.

I hope you have a safe and fun summer!

      Mission Statement

Each student has the right to realize his/her fullest potential physically, mentally, socially, and culturally through a quality education. The staff believes that this can be accomplished by providing an educational program through which each student may acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to live a satisfying life as a responsible citizen. We further believe that the school is just one of the agencies accountable for education and therefore, with the cooperation of the home, church, and surrounding community, the school will provide a healthy learning environment for every person.

The curriculum is traditionally organized with teachers in kindergarten through fourth teaching all subjects to their classes. Grades five and six regroup for social studies and math. The area of art, music, and physical education are taught by specialists in the respective fields.
